Board of Aldermen

Oneida is governed by a five-person board that includes the mayor and four aldermen. Each member serves concurrent four-year terms. The current term ends in 2011. The next scheduled election is Nov. 5, 2011. There is currently one vacancy on the board, created when alderman Jeff Tibbals resigned in August 2010 to assume his role as mayor of Scott County. The vacancy will be filled in the 2011 election.

The Mayor and Board of Aldermen meet each third Thursday at the Oneida Municipal Services Building, beginning at 7 p.m. The meetings are open to the public.
